I trust this email finds you well and that you had a wonderful holiday celebration with your loved ones.
As we reflect on the season of gratitude, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for your participation in our recent Cultural Proficiency Book Study. Your engagement and insights have contributed immensely to the richness of our discussions. I see you having excellent conversations in the small group and want to encourage you all to share more in the large group as you have insights I believe will help one another grow!
Attached is the slide deck and session summary notes which can also be accessed through Module 2 on the Kajabi course platform. Remember what you can do now in preparation for our next session:
- Connect: Re-read the Water of Systems Change article
- Educate Yourself: Read chapters 3 and 4 of Cultural Proficiency: A Manual for School Leaders
- Create Space: Consider the unheard voices and how they can be included.
- Prepare Your Support System: Communicate with those close to you that you will be working with your colleagues to explore challenging topics and how you would appreciate their support and flexibility particularly in scheduling so you can be present.
In the spirit of continuous improvement, we value your feedback on the book study. Your perspectives are important to us as we strive to enhance our programs and initiatives. To gather your thoughts, we have created a brief feedback form that should take only a few minutes to complete.
